What Happened in the Haryana Police Station Case?
The complainant reportedly alleged that he was stopped by police personnel at a checkpoint on Indri Road while returning home on a motorcycle on the night of June 17. An argument allegedly broke out over a cloth covering his face.
He claimed that he was later taken to Ladwa Police Station, where he was assaulted despite informing police personnel about his medical condition. The man, who is reportedly undergoing treatment for bone cancer, also alleged sexual abuse inside the police station.
Three Police Personnel Suspended
Following the complaint, Haryana Police suspended two Assistant Sub-Inspectors and one Home Guard personnel. Reports said an FIR has been registered and a Special Investigation Team has been constituted to probe the matter.
