Free Aid & Appliances Distribution for Divyangjan in Kamrup (M), Assam

Guwahati,Assam: Today, DISPUR (KHANAPARA) ICDS PROJECT KAMRUP METRO had the honor of hosting a meaningful event at Rangamancha, Rukmininagar, Wireless, Kamrup (M), Assam. The event featured the distribution of free aids and appliances to Divyangjan (persons with disabilities) in the region.



The event was filled with heartwarming moments, and and the organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to its success.



The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest of the event, Sh. Bhaskar Jyoti Manta, Director of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of Assam, shared his thoughts on providing much needed assistance and bringing attention to the needs of the Divyangjan community.

Special Highlights from the Token Distribution Ceremony:


Raj Pillay received Hearing Aids, enabling a better quality of life and communication.
Dilmaya Sharma was provided with a Tricycle (Large) and Elbow Crutch, empowering her to move independently.
Binod Poddar also received a Tricycle (Large) and Elbow Crutch, offering increased mobility and comfort.
Rumi Basumatary was given a Wheelchair (Medium), enhancing his ability to navigate with ease.
Hiya Haloi received a CP Chair, offering necessary support for better posture and comfort.


This noble initiative is a testament to the commitment towards promoting the welfare and empowerment and can continue to work towards an inclusive society where everyone has the tools and resources .
