ECCE Day Celebrated at Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Nagar Anganwadi Centre Under Dispur-Khanapara ICDS Project

Guwahati, July 19:

The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Day monthlcelebration was held today at the Anganwadi Centre in Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Nagar, Panjabari Circle under the Dispur-Khanapara ICDS Project in Kamrup Metro district, Assam. 

This month’s theme was “Storytelling”, aimed at enhancing children's imagination, communication, and emotional development through engaging narratives.

The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries including 

Gauri Shankar Sarma, Director, Women and Child Development (WCD); Ashim Saikia, Councillor; Anjana Das, Social Worker; and Kamal Kumar Sarma from the Dispur-Khanapara ICDS Project.

Circle Supervisor Ashma Khan Chaudhary also participated in the celebration.

Anganwadi Worker (AWW) Rejina Begum and Anganwadi Helper (AWH) Rumena Begum organized the event, which saw enthusiastic participation from children and their guardians.






The storytelling sessions brought joy and excitement to the children, reinforcing the importance of early education through fun and creativity.
